My People First Leadership Framework
How To Create Commitment, Engagement, and Pride in Your Team for Sustainable Success
I wrote this blog post series to teach the personal leadership framework that I’ve developed and refined throughout my career. It’s been built and shaped with input and inspiration from so many great people…people who have led me, people I’ve led, and leadership experts I’ve followed.
I firmly believe this framework has been the single biggest contributor to my leadership success. I’ve trained groups and mentored individuals for years using this framework and I hope you will find them valuable.
I’ve broken my leadership framework in to 7 posts/lessons. I could write a whole book on the framework but have tried to keep the content brief enough to digest easily, while still detailed enough that you can identify tangible takeaways.
My deep desire is that you will use this framework (or pieces of it) to grow your leadership, positively influence your team, and reach new heights of success!
The Framework
My People First Leadership (PFL) Framework is built on these three simple yet powerful steps:
- People Must Be First – Create commitment from your team members to you as their leader.
- Mission and Vision Come Second – Create engagement in your team members to their work.
- Results Happen Third – Create pride in your team members from their results.
